Maria Kaupas Academy is a homeschool enrichment program (Lower School) and comprehensive classical education program (Upper School) sponsored by St. Thomas More Catholic Parish in Scranton, Pennnsylvania. The academy is dedicated to cultivating the individual, and to reestablishing the Christian tradition by fostering a Christ-centered culture of people in daily awe at the wonders of the world, and who recognize and seek out Truth.

Our mission is to offer a God-centered education, rooted in Truth and Beauty, that will prepare students to serve Christ through their families and communities, and which will help them discern their respective vocations.

Our motto, “God’s Servant First,” comes from the last words of St. Thomas More — "I die the King’s good servant, and God’s first" — and speaks to the hope we have for our students, the same hope Mother Kaupas had for her own: that they be God’s faithful servants first.
