The Maria Kaupas Academy Upper School offers rigorous instruction in the following:
All subjects are fully integrated with each other, and a study of the arts is recognized as being essential to the formation of the whole person. Students learn to draw and paint, sing in the choir, and act on stage. Each year builds on the year prior, so that students graduate having become articulate, thoughtful, well-rounded, and joyful young adults.
Students read classic authors such as Homer, Sophocles, Plato, Aristotle, Euclid, Dante, Chaucer, Shakespeare, St. Thomas Aquinas, St. Teresa of Avila, G.K. Chesterton, and so forth. Maria Kaupas Academy students study the Old Testament, the New Testament, and the Catechism of the Catholic Church. Most importantly, faith and reason meet in every class.
